Lady who objected to wedding in viral video shares her side of story
The lady behind a viral video in which she objected to a wedding ceremony shares the motivations behind her dramatic interruption of her ex-husband’s marriage.
In the video, which quickly sparked outrage online, the lady stormed into a wedding and objected to the union, claiming she was trying to save the bride from the groom, her ex-husband.
Addressing the backlash, she explained that her actions were fueled by her history with the groom, whom she accused of cheating throughout their marriage.
“Caleb is a bastard. Omo ale ni Caleb,” she began, using the Yoruba phrase to express her disdain for him. According to her, Caleb had been unfaithful “from the jump,” cheating on her from the very start of their relationship until their eventual divorce.
In a candid and unapologetic explanation, she revealed that after discovering his infidelity, she decided to cheat on him as well, leading to a rough end to their marriage.
“When he found out, he was throwing up, crying, doing all the nags. Don’t dish what you cannot receive. I dished back to him what he dished to me,” she stated.
The woman defended her actions, rejecting accusations that she was a “homewrecker.”
“How am I a homewrecker when I was the original? Babes, you cannot honestly wreck something that was never a home to begin with,” she declared.
She also denied claims that she had any prior connection with the bride, clarifying, “I’m not the bride’s friend. I met her that day.”
Despite meeting the bride for the first time at the wedding, she admitted that she had already planned to ruin the event to expose her ex-husband’s behavior.
“Just because I met her and she was a cool girl and she was cutie and petite doesn’t mean I wasn’t going to do anything,” she concluded.
