Lady slams Tinubu, pastors as she spends ₦46k on just yam and a drum
A Nigerian lady has openly criticized President Bola Tinubu and the pastors who supported his election victory, expressing frustration over the state of the economy after a recent trip to the market.
In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), she lamented the rising cost of goods, revealing that she took ₦46,000 to the market but was only able to buy a single tuber of yam and a drum.
She wrote:
“This luxury 2-piece here? I got this wicked yam for ₦2,000, then this one for ₦39,000. The drum used to be ₦7,000–₦10,000. Transport fare is ₦5,000, and you say Tinubu and those pastors will be blessed?”
“It will never be well with any of them, including that one whose wife dresses like Goliath. This is what my ₦46,000 is worth.”
A video attached to her post showed the items she purchased, as she lamented how prices have skyrocketed compared to previous years.
