Lady ridicules man who hopes to ‘spoil’ her with N10K

A young lady stirs mixed reactions as she condemns a man who hopes to spoil his girlfriend with the sum of N10K.

A female Twitter user identified as Anita had taken to the platform to condemn the idea of using the word ‘spoil’ while sending a cash gift as small as N10K.

“I’ll spoil you with 10K? Lmfao,” she wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

In a follow-up reaction, a male user, Kan was alarmed by the lady’s ingratitude towards such a gesture while opting to send the same amount to his mother who would appreciate it instead.

“I’ll rather send the money to my mom than have someone talk to me like this,” he noted.

A female entrepreneur, Ore Akinde belittled Kan’s opinion while insisting that N10K is a ridiculous amount in Nigeria’s current economy. She pressed on to insist that the word ‘spoil’ is unwarranted in such a context.

“Why are you trying to spoil someone with 10k? Let’s be honest guys really. What can 10k do rn? emefiele Naira oh, Aren’t you guys in the same economy with us? Imo it should be worded ‘please help me manage this 10k’ or just send it home and stop the big man attitude,” she wrote.
