The lady known on X identified as @Kalogo_Mojalefa had taken to the platform in 2023 to celebrate after bagging an award for the highest overall performance in her department.

However, she was involved in an accident while heading home after completing her final exams. Tragically, the collision not only left her paralyzed but also prevented her from finishing her studies and graduating, as she was unable to complete her research.

The accident led to a six-month hospital stay, including three months in intensive care and four high-risk surgeries.

Despite these medical interventions, her condition required life support at one point, and her family was even summoned to say their final goodbyes.

In a twist of irony, she recently survived a second car accident, humorously noting that only her side of the car was damaged.

How I became paralyzed after posting my achievements online

“When people say don’t post your achievements on social media, I now believe them. On my way home after final exams I got involved in an unexplainable car accident that left me paralysed from the neck down 😏.

“I couldn’t even graduate because I wasn’t done with my research. I’m still not done because I can’t write or type on my laptop anymore. From being completely dependent to having to be 100% dependent on others.

“I spent 6 months in hospital (3 in ICU), had 4 high risk operations, and was on life support. At some point they called my family at 4am to come say goodbye to me. But they ended up successfully resuscitating me. I’m in awe of how God has carried me through.

“Snininini I didn’t wake up from one of my surgeries for one and a half hours. I had everyone stressed out. And the weird thing is I received a call from someone I can’t remember offering to pray for me before the surgery. The prayer was so weird that I ended up opening my eyes 👀.

“I forgot to mention that I got involved in another one 2 months ago 😂😂 ay shame. We were 5 in the car and only my side got hit 😂😂
