Lady narrates experience in hotel with timetable for water
A lady, Amaka, has taken to her X page, to narrate her experience in a hotel where they had a timetable for water.
According to her, this had happened in the city of Enugu during the Christmas period.
She noted that she was highly disappointed as the hotel came highly recommended, especially after she faced almost the same issues the last time she was in the city.
She stated, “Imagine lodging in a hotel, and they’re giving you a timetable for water! Is it a boarding school?
After making inquiries, Amaka was assured that she’ll have water whenever she needs it.
In her words, “I thought to myself, ‘This ‘when needed’ excuse again?’” So i asked “How will you know when I need water to turn it on?”
He replied, “Ehhh, you see, we have specific times—6 p.m. and in the morning—when we turn it on for everyone to use.”
“At that point, I almost burst out laughing. Was I back in boarding school or what?
I asked, “What if I need to use the toilet in the middle of the night or rush back during a break session at church to freshen up?”
The receptionist’s reply shocked her.
He said, “Ah, that’s why we provide buckets in the rooms for you to fetch and store water.”
Amaka added, “At this point, I couldn’t hold it anymore—I burst out laughing. I told the friend who brought me there, Abeg, I’m not cut out for this stress.”
