Lady calls out police after sister was stabbed, robbed while jogging
A Nigerian lady has narrated her shocking experience at a police station after her sister was brutally attacked while jogging.
In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), she expressed her frustration over the response she received from police officers when she reported the incident.
According to her, her sisters had gone out for a jog when they were attacked and robbed. One of them was stabbed multiple times—about 12 times—by the assailants.
Upon taking the matter to the police station, she was met with an unexpected response.
Instead of launching an investigation, the officers allegedly blamed her sisters for jogging, claiming they had been warned against it.
The officers further suggested that the victims were jogging to enhance their physical appearance.
In her words:
“My sisters were attacked while jogging. They were robbed, and one of them was stabbed 12 times in different parts of her body.”
“We went to the station to report, and most of the female officers there said, ‘Haven’t they warned you girls to stop jogging? It’s because you want to have a big bum.’ Can you imagine?”
“You people should be looking for solutions and arresting those responsible for what happened to my sister!”
The lady expressed her disappointment, stating that instead of blaming the victims, the police should have conducted a proper investigation to apprehend the attackers.
