Lady buys duplex 3 months after shop rent increased from N900K to N1.4M
A Nigerian lady counts her blessings as she buys a duplex three months after vacating her shop following the landlord‘s N500K increase in rent.
In a TikTok video shared by @thiasradiant_ng, the businesswoman explained her decision to leave the shop and continue operating her business from home.
According to her, Initially, she had been paying N900,000, but the landlord suddenly increased it to N1.4 million without pity.
In the video, she was seen moving out of the premises, with workers helping her pack her belongings. She mentioned that her landlord raised the rent upon noticing the success of her business.
Nevertheless, the woman’s business continues to thrive and within three months of doing business from home, she managed to purchase a duplex.
“I moved my stuff back to my house, but God was not done with me. Business was booming, and within three months, we bought a duplex for my business,” she captioned the video.
