A courageous lady has taken to social media to bravely share her heartbreaking journey, revealing how she came to have five children, each fathered by different men.
The raw honesty of the young woman’s confession has touched the hearts of many viewers online.
During an interview with Citizen TV, the young woman, whose name was not disclosed, recounted her tumultuous journey with palpable anguish.
Growing up in Vihiga County, the young woman revealed that her childhood was marked by hardship, recounting how she worked tirelessly on a farm to provide food for her siblings.
Determined to escape the mistreatment she faced at home, she made the courageous decision to leave her village and seek a better life in the city, Nairobi.
Arriving in the city, she found herself in Kibera, where life proved to be far more challenging than she had anticipated.
Despite her efforts to get a job, she found herself living on the streets, facing the harsh realities of survival.
It was there, amidst the harsh conditions of street life, that she gave birth to her three children, each born of different fathers.
Her voice trembling with emotion, she revealed the pain and regret she felt over the circumstances that led to her current situation.
In her words;
“When I left, I was coming to Kibera. I had only heard of the place but had never been there. I was coming to look for work and escape the mistreatment back home. It was never as easy here as I anticipated, but I was determined to do my best to make a living rather than go back home,”
“I did not want to be close to the men in my circle, but it was almost inevitable because of circumstances. I do not know all my kids’ fathers, but they do not belong to the same man.
“I now have three girls and two boys, each having a different father. I thought I was being helped by the last two men I met, but they all lied to me; now I have a bigger burden to fend for all my five kids.”
