La Liga: Lewandowski, Raphinha shine as Barcelona thrash Villarreal 5-1

Barcelona continued their dominant La Liga form with a 5-1 victory over Villarreal at La Ceramica.

Despite key absences, Hansi Flick’s side maintained their winning streak to secure six league victories out of six outings.

Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring early, converting Pablo Torre’s assist, and doubled his tally 15 minutes later after a penalty box scramble.

Villarreal’s Ayoze Perez pulled one back two minutes later, but Barcelona’s remained unstoppable.

Pablo Torre added a goal to his earlier assist, and Raphinha’s late brace sealed the win.

Barcelona’s victory restores their four-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
