Kunle Afolayan, Tunde Kelani, other crew members arrive Ghana for Anikulapo S2
In preparation for the upcoming second season of the Netflix series Anikulapo, director Kunle Afolayan and his crew have traveled to Accra, Ghana for more shooting scenes.
The crew landed on Sunday for the commencement of the movie and Veteran filmmaker Tunde Kelani made it known on both his Instagram and Facebook account.
It read:
“Arriving Accra’s Kotoka International Airport this morning with the Team of Anikulapo the Series,”
Kunle Afolayan wrapped up shooting the Nigerian scenes in Anikulapo Season 2 at the KAP Film Village in Igbojaye on Wednesday, September 11.
Some of the actors returning from Season 1 are Sola Sobowale, Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Aisha Lawal, Bimbo Ademoye, Moji Afolayan, Eyiyemi Afolayan, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Owobo Ogunde, Lateef Adedimeji and Oyindamola Sanni.
The new faces joining the series include Saidi Balogun, Saga Adeolu and Antar Laniyan.
In an effort to support the Shoot in Ghana project, Kunle Afolayan Production and the National Film Authority collaborated to include a few actors from Ghana in the second installment of the series.
