Juventus survive Lazio scare to book Coppa Italia final ticket

Juventus have booked their place in the Coppa Italia final despite a 2-1 defeat against Lazio, with a late goal from substitute Arkadiusz Milik.

Milik’s goal helped Juventus advance to the final on 3-2 aggregate.

Juventus had earlier secured a 2-0 win in Turin, but with key players suspended or injured, Lazio sensed an opportunity.

Taty Castellanos broke the deadlock for Lazio, and completed a brace early in the second, leveling the aggregate score at 2-2.

However, Juventus rallied round to come back in the game, with Weston McKennie and Dusan Vlahovic coming close to restoring the lead.

However, it was substitute Milik, who turned the tide around, with his first touch, capitalizing on Timothy Weah’s cross to snatch the crucial goal, securing Juventus’ place in the final.

Juventus will now await the winner of the semi-final clash between Atalanta and Fiorentina, with the final set to take place on May 15th.
