Juventus eye Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface as possible replacement for Vlahovic
Juventus are reportedly considering Bayer Leverkusen’s Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface, as a potential replacement for Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic who joined Juventus in the winter of 2022, has been a subject of transfer speculations.
Now, with rumours of his departure looming, Juventus are eyeing Super Eagles forward Boniface, to take his place.
The 22-year-old Nigerian forward, having joined Leverkusen under the management of Xabi Alonso, has rapidly become one of the standout strikers in German football.
In 18 appearances across all competitions this season, Boniface has netted 12 goals and provided six assists.
Meanwhile, despite Juventus’ interest, it’s noteworthy that Boniface is still under contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2028,
This suggestes that acquiring his signature might involve hefty financial burdens and paper works.
