In 2001, Jahm Najafi, the owner of the Phoenix-based private equity firm Najafi Companies, was named to the Phoenix Business Journal’s list of the Forty Under 40.

He is a National Basketball Association governor, as well as a vice chairman and part owner of the Phoenix Suns, a professional basketball team.
