Jadon Sancho losing it at Carrington, as Ten Hag gives condition for his return
Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho remains absent from first-team activities, and has missed multiple training sessions at Carrington.
Recall that the 23-year-old winger was banished from United’s first team after a reported fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, following their 3-1 defeat against Arsenal on September 3.
Despite being exiled to the academy section of the training ground, Sancho has not faced financial penalties for his consistent absences during trainings, and continues to receive his full pay.
The club have not taken disciplinary action as Sancho has consistently provided explanations for his non-attendance, often citing illness, according to Sun UK Sports.
In the lead-up to Manchester United’s clash with Bournemouth, Ten Hag emphasized that the resolution lies with Sancho, if he wants to return to first team selection.
“He knows what he has to do if he wants to return. It is up to him,” Ten Hag said.
Things went out of hand when Sancho, in response to being dropped for the said Arsenal clash, took to social media, disputing claims of a poor attitude by his manager.
“I will not allow people saying things that are completely untrue.” Despite subsequently deleting the post, Ten Hag sought an apology, which Sancho has not yet delivered.
Meanwhile, recent reports have linked the English international with a possible winter move to Juventus, who have shown interest in the player.
