“It is hard to escape poverty if you marry during your poverty” – Reno Omokri

Popular Nigerian author, lawyer and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has dished out another nugget of wisdom.

The Amazon Best Selling author is prominent for his daily nuggets of wisdom and this time around, he has focused on poverty and marriage.

According to him, it is hard to escape poverty when one marries as a poor person.

He asked, if you were alone and suffering, what do you think will happen when you add a wife and children to your already struggling self?
