Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress party, Omoyele Sowore has called on the police to arrest those who attacked supporters of Labour party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Lagos.
One of the victims of the attack identified simply as Obi Flag Boy, shared the video on Twitter and also showed off the injuries they sustained.
Obi Flag Boy who claimed they were attacked Oshodi Local Government chairman and his boys for carrying a flag of Peter Obi, also alleged that they would have been burnt alive if an army officer didn’t intervene.
He tweeted;
“ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! THIS IS WHAT THE CHAIRMAN OF OCHODI AND HIS BOYS DID TO US TODAY AT OSHODI BECAUSE THEY SAW US CARRYING @PeterObi flag We were almost burnt alive if not for an army officer. We’re seriously having internal bleeding”

Reacting to this, the AAC presidential candidate stated that it is criminal to subject any Nigerian citizen to such level of cruelty over their political choices. Sowore also called on the police to arrest those who attacked supporters of Peter Obi in Lagos.
He tweeted;
“These @NgLabour supporters of @PeterObi attacked and brutalised by @OfficialAPCN supporters in lagos. It is criminal to subject any Nigerian citizen to this level of cruelty over their political choices. @PoliceNGmust prosecute them accordingly.”
