I’m not surprised about my large social media following – Ronaldo

One of the greatest footballers of this generation and the most-followed individual on social media, Cristiano Ronaldo, has stated that he is not surprised about his large following on the social media.

The footballer who is popularly known as CR7, disclosed this while speaking with YouTube star MrBeast in the latest episode of his YouTube channel UR Cristiano.

In the video published on Thursday, Ronaldo described his achievement of having a billion followers across all platforms as gratifying but unsurprising.

The football icon attributed his massive following to the global love for his career and for football as a sport.

While expressing happiness over the milestone, Ronaldo reiterated that the unwavering support of his fans worldwide made the achievement predictable.

He stated, “It was good. A good achievement, but I wasn’t surprised, to be honest.

“I know the passion that people have for me and for football as well. For the career I still have, I felt that passion, so it wasn’t a surprise.

“I feel happy, but in the same way, not surprised.”

Recall that in September, Ronaldo made history by becoming the first person to reach one billion followers across his social media platforms.
