‘I’m more out than in’ – Salah admits as he demands new Liverpool contract

Mohamed Salah has cast doubt over his Liverpool future, admitting he feels “more out than in” at Anfield.

The Reds remain silent on a contract extension for the Egyptian forward.

Salah’s current deal expires next summer, and talks over a renewal are yet to begin.

Following his brace in Liverpool’s 3-2 win at Southampton, Salah, 32, expressed disappointment at the lack of a new offer.

“We’re almost in December, and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay at the club. I’m probably more out than in,” he said.

However, Salah emphasized his focus on the current campaign, stating, “I’m trying to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League as well.

I love the fans, and they love me, but it’s not in my hands or theirs.”

The prolific forward, who boasts 223 goals and 99 assists in 367 Liverpool appearances, remains a key figure for the Reds, who currently top the Premier League.

However, his future could be influenced by persistent interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, even though Liverpool previously rejected bids exceeding £150 million for the player.
