“I’m deeply sorry” – Ambassador Coomassie apologizes for asking Buhari to handle #EndSARS protesters with iron fist (Video)
Ambassador Hussaini Coomassie has apologized to Nigerian youths after he was slammed for asking President Muhammadu Buhari to tackle #EndSARS protesters with an iron fist.
Recall that Coomasie had asked President Buhari to tackle Nigerians who are protesting against police brutality with forceful measures.
In the viral video, he asked the President to deploy the military against the protesters who according to him, will not try such during ex-president Obasanjo’s regime.
However, Coomasie who is United Nations’ Ambassador for Peace and Social Justice has now apologized to Nigerian youths over his insensitive comments.
He noted that he has the right to express his opinion as a Nigerian, but is sorry for the way the comment was interpreted.
