Ifu Ennada cries out as disposable face mask increase in price over coronavirus
BBNaija’s Ifu Ennada has cried out with claims that disposable face mask has increased in price since coronavirus was confirmed in Lagos.
Coronavirus was confirmed after an Italian man visited Nigeria for a business meeting during which he was allegedly picked up by an Uber driver who drove him to Ogun State after arriving at the airport in Lagos.
With no other case confirmed yet, Ifu Ennada claims people are now taking advantage of the situation by jacking up prices of disposable face mask which helps to prevent the inhaling of the virus which is airborne.
She wrote: “Disposable face mask now 15,000 naira! No longer 750naira or 10,000 naira which was the latest price in Lekki this morning like I reported some mins ago. This video was sent to me by one of my sisters who’s on the mainland.
“Nigerians, we are our own problem. I hope these Pharmacies ripping people off their money also educate them on how to use and also inform them that only those who already have the Virus need to wear these face masks”.
