“If you do well, you won’t have to use fear and intimidation to force anyone to support you” – Simi writes to politicians

Famous musician and songwriter, Simi has spoken out on the use of intimidation and coercion by some politicians to make people support them.

In a post on her Twitter page, the singer said that leaders seeking reelection wouldn’t need to resort to certain brutish ways to gain support if they had done what the people wanted.

According to her, if they had been doing well and had been loved by the people, fear and intimidation as tools for reelection wouldn’t be in their inventory to gain votes.

In her words:

“If you do well and people love you, you won’t have to use fear and intimidation to force anyone to support you. Isn’t this common sense?”
