Ice Prince, Skiibii react to Eedris Abdulkareem’s claim of paving way for Nigerian artists
Nigerian singers, Ice Prince and Skiibii has poked fun at their senior colleague, Eedris Abdulkareem for claiming he is the driving force behind the success of many afrobeat artists.
Recall that Eedris claimed his 2004 uprising against concert promoters’ abuse of Nigerian artists—during which he got into a brawl with American rapper 50Cent and his G-Unit associates in Nigeria—is the reason why Nigerian musicians are now respected globally.
He claimed that musicians like Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid were born out of his exquisite sacrifice. Regretfully, he continued, the majority of these artists don’t appreciate his efforts.
While watching his most recent interview on The Honest Bunch, Ice Prince and Skiibii laughed and mockingly applauded him for his past efforts.
