Ibrahim Abiodun Chatta is a Nigerian actor, film director, producer, and musician who was born on October 13, 1970.
He was born into a large, polygamous Muslim family of fourteen children and is from Bachita in Edu Local Government in Kwara state.
Contrary to popular belief, Ibrahim Chatta is of Tapa descent rather than Yoruba. Ibrahim Abiodun Chatta was raised in a polygamist family with three wives.
His mother is from Osun state’s Modakeke. He holds his mother in high regard and considers her to be one of his greatest influences in life, as she saw the best in him and continued to push and motivate him to strive for the best, even in the most difficult times of his life.
He has indicated that she is responsible for the majority of his success stories. Unfortunately, she passed away recently after battling diabetes for 25 years.
Ibrahim Chatta lost interest in schooling as a child due to his unruly and defiant demeanour, which caused him to drop out of secondary school.
He completed his basic education at Bachita’s St. Bridges Catholic Basic School. He successfully obtained his first school leaving certificate and enrolled in the Government Secondary School in Bachita, but he was later sent to another region in Niger state due to his difficult behaviour.

Since he was a little child in Bachita, Ibrahim Chatta has had a passion for performing.
He got the chance to see some prominent people perform in public, including Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), the late Duro Ladipo, the late Iya Mero, and Ray Eyiwunmi (Baba Ray), the latter of whom he particularly admired and looked up to.
Ibrahim Chatta frequently carried out the roles played by these great actors during his playing with his friends, dressing in clothes borrowed from their mothers.
Chatta’s goal came true in 1995 when he was 15 years old, and he started to get cast in significant roles in the film business.

Personal Life
Ibrahim Chatta is said to have been in and out of two marriages before his present one.
He was previously married to Olayinka Solomon, a Nigerian actress, but the marriage ended owing to his wife accusing him of physical abuse, which he adamantly disputed, stating that he and Olayinka Solomon never had a mutual relationship. The couple has a son named Malik, who was born in 2008.
Then, on December 30, 2012, he married Salamatu Mohammed Lafiaji, the daughter of former Kwara State Governor Senator Sheaba Lafiaji.
The marriage also encountered a snag, and the pair split after Salamatu disclosed that Ibrahim Chatta was a womanizer and a gold digger, saying that he was also a woman beater and that she miscarried as a result of the beatings she received from him.
Ibrahim Chatta refuted the charges, claiming that Salamatu had no feelings for him and had long since lost interest in the relationship.
He is currently married to Olaide Aishat, also known as Lizzy Berry, whom he married in 2016. A lovely daughter has been born into the couple.
