“I wish to have a statue built to celebrate me”-Ghanaian actress Maame Dokono
Veteran Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe best known as Maame Dokono, has expressed her desire to leave her legacy behind in the form of a status.
During a one-on-one with Blakk Rasta on 3FM’s Urban Blend show, the icon revealed her desire to leave a long lasting legacy in the form of a status.
Maame Dokono thinks a statue will inspire future generations and act as a remembrance of her efforts to the business.
She made it clear that while she is not asking for this kind of acknowledgment, she would be grateful if it did.
In her words:
“Yes! I think there should be my statue there for my legacy to be in the minds of the little ones who are coming because I am even in their books.”
“If something like that could be erected in my honor, it will be a nice thing. I am not forcing anybody to do it but if it is done, fine.”
