“I was more interested in exploring the world” — Lady shares why she turned down marriage proposal
Lady faces serious backlash from many internet users as she shares the unusual reason she turned down second marriage proposal from a suitor.
The 21 year old lady shared the video to her Tiktok account, @geraldineoluoha.
She explained how he had first approached her for marriage but she refused, citing that she had just graduated from the university and needed to live life and explore.
The young girl stated that she felt she needed to know him personally, as her knowledge of him was mostly on a surface level.
Despite the fact that they both agreed on this, the man sneaked behind to plan an expensive proposal with a lot of people present hoping to get a yes from her because of the public space.
However, she stood on her ground and refused to give him a yes.
This led to a barrage of insults from the man who called her a witch and a feminist who would die unmarried.
Although her reason for not marrying him was different, she remains grateful she didn’t, as her answer showed his true colors.
