I was a house husband in Sweden but COVID-19 lockdown caused my divorce – May D
Popular singer, May D speaks on his crashed marriage to his Swedish wife, as he speaks on how their relationship crashed during Covid-19.
The singer who was featured in the Honest Bunch podcast revealed that he was once married to his girlfriend who used to visit him in Nigeria.
He noted that Sweden was the last country he did his tour, and decided to settle there for a while, since his girlfriend was from there.
May D stated he and his girlfriend had gotten married; during the course of their marriage, he was more of the stay at home dad and had to take care of their kid, since his wife had to always go out to work.
However, during the COVID-19 he was stuck in Nigeria and couldn’t return to Sweden; the tension and uncertainty of the period made them end their marriage.
