“I waited for her for 14 years” — Gombe state police PRO finally gets married to love of his life

Gombe police PRO celebrate heartily as he finally ties the knot with the love of his life after waiting for 14 years with minimal progress.

The officer of the law shared photos from his wedding which occurred in December to his X account, @MaheedMuazu, and followed it up with their story.

According to him, he had met her sometime back in 2010 while he was still in the police academy and instantly fell in love with her.

Despite his feelings, he made no move on her because she was still very young.

Six years after, they started a relationship and he proposed to her but was rejected by an undisclosed family member of hers.

He never gave up, kept applying pressure until sometime in 2023 he was called back and asked if he was still interested, he accepted because of the love he has always had for her and they eventually got married after.

“8 years ago, I proposed to this young girl called Nafisa while i was still in the Academy, meanwhile, I first saw her in 2010 and kept it to myself considering her tender age untill 2016.

Despite facing rejection from yet to be disclosed member of of her family after I passed out from the academy in 2018, I never gave up.

After multiple attempts, I was finally asked in Dec 2023 if I still had interest. I accepted her, because of the love we both had for each other and on 24/02/24, I married the love of my life. Matar Mutum Kabarinsa. 💕 #LoveStory #MarriedLife”
