“I need 5th child” – Nigerian man threatens to divorce wife if she refuses to get pregnant again after having 4 children

A serious dispute has arisen between a husband and wife in Akwa Ibom, as the man has threatened to divorce his wife if she refuses to conceive their fifth child.

The award-winning Akwa Ibom MC, Imaan Mike Umoh, brought attention to the matter in a Facebook post on Thursday night.

According to Umoh’s post, the husband suspects his wife of secretly using contraceptives, which has led to tensions and a serious confrontation between the couple.

In his words;

“Serious fight in my street now. Husband threatened to divorce his wife if she refused to get pregnant for the 5th child. Suspecting his wife of taking contraceptives.”

The exact reasons behind the man’s desire for a fifth child are unknown, but it appears to be a significant point of contention between the husband and wife.

While the identities of the individuals involved have not been disclosed, the incident has sparked discussions among social media users and the local community.
