“I hope they catch whoever did you wicked” – Burna Boy pays tribute to AKA
Renowned Afrobeats musician, Burna Boy has paid tribute to the deceased South African rapper, Kiernan Forbes alias AKA who was shot to death.
You may recall that on Friday, February 10, news made the rounds that the South African died on the spot after he was shot by an unknown killer.
Burna Boy who had once appeared on Sarkodie’s hit song “Special Someone” in 2014 took to the studio to pay a tribute to the rapper.
In a music tribute, he had recalled how AKA had innocently expressed surprise when he first saw his gun and how he had told him to get one because he thought AKA knew how bad the streets are.
Burna Boy prayed that those behind the killing of the rapper be apprehended for their nefarious act.
In his words;
“WTF is all of that about/I just heard he died, seen that video at that restaurant/ Took me out of a positive mood/ Took me back to that day when you saw my gun and you said I was wild/ Then I told you you should have one too/ Cuz it weren’t like ni..gaz wasn’t dying but I thought you knew/ And I ain’t really fck wit you/ But I didn’t want you dead, it was like that with me and you/ Wicked!/
