“I had an encounter with God in the desert” – Sharon Ooja

Multi-award-winning Nollywood actress, Sharon Ooja, has opened up about a profound encounter with God, revealing how she feels blessed about her marital life.

This development comes amid controversy surrounding Sharon Ooja’s public displays of affection, which have sparked a frenzy on social media.

In a recent church service, the actress revealed that she had an encounter with God during a movie shoot in the desert, and described it as life-changing , which renewed her faith.

Additionally, Sharon Ooja, who tied the knot with her husband, Ugo Nwokoye, in June 2024, revealed a reflective insight about her past, stating she once prioritized marrying a wealthy man, and now feels grateful to have a unique partner in her life.

She said, “Last year, while filming in the desert, I had an experience with the Holy Spirit. Six years ago, my priority was to marry a rich man, but I’m grateful to God for giving me the best husband in the world”.
