“I don’t know where they buried my husband” – Widow cries out, accuses late hubby’s family of trying to seize his properties (Video)
A widow and mother of four children has cried out online as she accuses her late husband’s family of secretly burying him.
She raised her voice against the actions of her late husband’s maternal family in a video posted on TikTok by @chrisosamedia.
In the video that has since gone viral, the widow pleaded for assistance from the Governor of Edo State, the Oba of Benin, and fellow Nigerians, as she faces the threat of losing her family’s properties.
The widow, who had been legally married to her late husband, reveals that he had spent 24 years of his life in Europe.
However, after being diagnosed with cancer and not showing signs of improvement, he returned to Nigeria. It was at this point that the widow suspected foul play and a conspiracy within her husband’s family.
In her words:
“My husband was sick in Europe and was diagnosed with cancer. He was brought to Nigeria to find a cure. When they brought him to Nigeria, I never knew his family had some conspiracy and plans of killing him”.
Amidst her grief, the widow revealed that her husband was buried in an undisclosed location, a secret burial orchestrated by his maternal family.
She believes that this act was carried out with the intention of seizing their properties, leaving her and her children vulnerable and without a rightful claim to their inheritance.
“Because they want to collect property from us, they buried him in an undisclosed land,” she said.
