“I discovered he was a mere fuel attendant” – Lady vows to sue lover who faked being a lawyer to sleep with her
A South African lady has solicited advice on dragging a man to court for pretending to be a lawyer and having his way with her.
The lady revealed that she had been approached by the man who claimed to be a lawyer.
She stated that whenever she’s around him, he always used the terminologies of law which gave her further impression that he was truly a lawyer.
However, she later found out, after they had been intimate several times, that he was just mere fuel attendant.
She has gone to social media to determine whether she can file a case against the man.
Her words read:
“Dear Auntie Momoza.
Please hide my name for safety purposes.
I met a guy in Polokwane and he asked for my number. I gave it to him because he told me he is a magistrate. We started talking and a week later we went out on a date. He’d take calls in front of me talking to lawyers and prosecutors. He used big words like constitution and precedence. He started visiting me at my flat and we made love several times. I discovered a month later that he is a mere petrol attendant without matric. He blocked me everywhere since I uncovered his lie. I want to know if I can lay a charge of rape against him. I consented to sleeping with him because I thought he was a magistrate. The cars he came to my place with belongs to his boss. Had I known he was a petrol attendant I wouldn’t have consented. Please advise.”
