“I am pledging my 100% support” – Peter Okoye speaks on helping Mr Ibu

Peter Okoye, a well-known artist, has expressed his support for the ailing Nollywood veteran, John Okafor alias Mr Ibu.

Mr P characterised Mr Ibu in an Instagram post as someone who brought joy to many people’s faces and urged the public to help him financially and via prayers.

In a poignant video, Mr. Ibu and his family asked for donations and prayers for the actor.

The actor revealed that the doctor told him that if additional treatments for his medical condition failed, he would have to have his leg amputated.

Ibu, who was not a believer in this method, requested prayers, bemoaning how his life would be if his leg was amputated.

Reposting Mr Ibu’s account details, Peter Okoye wrote:

“Our very own @realmribu (John Okafor) needs our help as he goes through a medical challenge. Our Nollywood legends deserve better, its time for we the people to show him love for bringing joy to our screens all these years

He needs our prayers and financial support in this challenging time. Praying for his speedy recovery
