How Olamide fought for us to be respected at an event – Ex-Usher
A Nigerian lady, known by her social media handle @jummychuu, recently shared a heartwarming experience she had with popular rapper Olamide Adedeji, fondly called Olamide Baddo, during an event.
According to her account, Olamide demonstrated his support for the ushers at the event by standing up against a rude and mean-spirited female supervisor.
@jummychuu, who used to work with an ushering company, revealed that their supervisor was consistently displaying disrespectful behavior towards her and her colleagues.
The incident took place during an event attended by various artists, with Olamide being among the lineup.
The young woman recounted how Olamide, upon witnessing the mistreatment by the female supervisor, took a stand on behalf of the ushers.
He courageously approached the event director and insisted that the supervisor be removed from her position or he would leave the event altogether.
@jummychuu expressed her admiration for Olamide, referring to him as an “OG” (original gangster) due to his actions.
She wrote;
“Why Olamide Baddo will forever be an OG to me. Back when I used to do ushering jobs, one lady the director kept in charge of artists and ushers was rude to ushers, Olamide legit asked the director to walk her out or he’s going to leave. The lady left the room so ashamed 😩.”
