“How I manage to stay away from controversies” – Yemi Alade

Famous Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has shared insights into her approach to staying clear of controversies in the entertainment industry.

Best known for her hit song “Johnny,” Alade revealed that she maintains a resilient stance against negative criticisms and public scrutiny.

During the recent listening party for her latest album, ‘Rebel Queen,’ held in Lagos, the ‘Johnny’ coroner  expressed her philosophy on handling criticisms.

She emphasized that she prioritizes living her life authentically, disregarding the opinions that do not align with her values.

“I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I’ve,” Yemi Alade said.

“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me, I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions,” she added.
