House agent bets with client’s ₦500K rent, loses all, flaunts fresh bet ticket
A Nigerian house agent has sparked outrage after revealing that he used ₦500,000 meant for a client’s house rent to gamble and lost everything.
Despite the loss, he admitted to continuing his betting habit and even flaunted his latest bet slip.
The revelation came in a viral TikTok post, where the man shared his personal experience with gambling.
He recounted how a client entrusted him with ₦500,000 to secure an apartment, but instead of using the money as intended, he went straight to a betting shop.
“I do agent work. Somebody gave me ₦500K to rent an apartment. The money didn’t even last a day in my hands,” he confessed.
Revealing how quickly he squandered the funds, he added: “That very day, I put the money in my bag and went to a betting shop. They finished it sharp sharp.”
Shockingly, he admitted that he has not stopped gambling and had already placed another bet that morning.
“Even this morning, I’ve booked again. I’ve already played a game today. See my ticket,” he said while displaying his bet slip.
