Hotel releases statement following death of Ibadan vendor

Following the death of an Ibadan vendor, Khadi, the hotel where she was lodged with a client has released a statement.

Khadi was found dead on Thursday after lodging with an individual who checked out early when she was confirmed to be alive.

Following unrest on social media about the vendor, Wetland Hotel Akobo released a statement confirming the tragic loss while affirming police investigation.

We regret to inform you that an unfortunate incident occurred at our hotel, Wetland Hotel. One of our guests passed away while staying with us.
