“He’s so good, so humble” – Amorim praises Amad, but sounds warning
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has hailed Amad Diallo for his match-winning performance on Sunday.
Amad was instrumental to United’s 2-1 derby victory over Manchester City.
However, Amorim has called for patience with the young winger’s development.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the dramatic clash, Amorim highlighted Amad’s humility and talent.
“He’s so good, so humble. But let’s stay calm with Amad, keep calm,” the manager said.
Amad, 22, sealed United’s comeback with a composed finish in the 90th minute, following Bruno Fernandes’ equalizing penalty.
The winger’s calmness under pressure earned widespread praise, with Amorim crediting the work of former United coaches Erik ten Hag and Ruud van Nistelrooy in shaping the player’s development.
“Ten Hag and Van Nistelrooy did a great job with him; we continue that. Really important,” Amorim noted.
