Heartbreaking video as Nigerian couple and new baby evicted over unpaid rent, forced to sleep outside
A Nigerian couple and their new baby sparked emotional reactions online as they were evicted over rent by their landlord and made to sleep outside late at night.
This was captured in a video made available by an individual who offered help to the couple after he saw them sleeping on the bare floor on his way back from work.
The video shows the man and his wife sleeping on the floor with just a bedsheet laid on the ground, with their child in-between them.
Moved by their situation, he offered help while revealing through the caption in the video that the couple was evicted by the landlord due to rent arrears.
