Hardship: Man shocked over portioned spaghetti, others in market
Amidst the economic hardship in Nigeria, some market traders have taken the initiative of portioning food items to aid affordability in some states.
A social media identified as @amboy_377 on TikTok shared his unexpected reaction after stumbling on portioned raw food in the market.
Food items including spaghetti, sorghum, macaroni, and others were portioned into small sizes to support the pocket of those who cannot afford the whole sachet.
Sharing the video, the TikToker emphasized concerns about the situation of the country while pleading for God’s mercy.
“NIGERIA YAH ALLAH,” he captioned the video; which translates to “God help Nigeria.”
A social media user @Mohammed commented on the post, “This is serious. the rate of hopelessness is just too much. Allah help us.”
