Grealish’s future in doubt as Man City reportedly consider summer exit

Jack Grealish’s future at Manchester City is being questioned, with reports suggesting the club could offload the winger this summer.

Former scout Mick Brown believes the player’s limited game time and off-field lifestyle could influence the club’s decision to part ways with the English forward.

The 29-year-old has struggled for regular minutes under Pep Guardiola, making just 14 starts across all competitions this season.

His lack of involvement also saw him miss out on England’s latest squad.

Brown believes City’s preference for more dynamic wide players like Jeremy Doku and Savinho, combined with Grealish’s modest goal and assist output, could see him deemed surplus to requirements.

“I don’t think he’s part of Guardiola’s long-term plans. He’s been out of the team a lot this year, even when fit,” Brown told Football Insider.

“Jack doesn’t do himself any favours, he’s always prone to a picture of him partying, which adds to pressure and speculation,” he added

Despite his struggles in the Premier League, Grealish has started all three of City’s FA Cup matches this season and could feature in their quarter-final clash against Bournemouth.
