Giggs slams Man United’s ‘decade of poor decisions,’ urges board to back Amorim
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has blasted the club’s decision-making over the past 10 years.
He blames the Premier League club’s mismanagement of their decline.
The 51-year-old, who won 25 major honors at Old Trafford, believes new head coach Ruben Amorim deserves full support from the board and time to rebuild the squad.
“Like any business, recruitment needs to be right, and it hasn’t been for the last ten years.
“We’ve just made poor decision after poor decision,” Giggs told fans at a Q&A event in Bristol.
Despite United’s struggles, Giggs remains hopeful, stating that with the right signings and at least three to four transfer windows, the club can return to its former glory.
Meanwhile, Amorim’s tenure has been challenging, with seven home losses in 13 league games—United’s joint-worst start in history.
However, Giggs insists the Portuguese manager can succeed if given time.
“I really like the manager. Given a chance and time, Amorim will bring success back.”
