“Get Annie Idibia off the show, her behavior unhealthy to viewers” – Critics

Barely a few episodes into season three of Young, Famous & African, viewers call for the replacement/removal of Nigerian actress Annie Idibia from the reality show.

Critics cite concerns over her mental health and clashes with co-stars Zari Hassan and Ini Edo, which have sparked widespread debate online.

A heated moment on the show saw Annie involved in confrontations with both Zari and Ini amongst other reasons, leading to criticism from viewers.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), a user identified as @Oyinash_ wrote, “Please get Annie Idibia off Young, Famous & African. It’s not healthy for her and it’s not healthy for us, the viewers, either. This is insane. Asides her being a horrible person, she’s also being bullied. Please, it’s enough.”

The post quickly went viral, gathering support from fans who expressed similar sentiments. Many alleged that Annie might be experiencing a mental breakdown or accused her of being under the influence of drugs during filming.

Elsie_Finegeh noted: “Everyone is saying she’s “the content”. Until she runs mad on set 😭.”

Kikispams penned: “They need to do this asap to protect her remaining dignity.”

usual_antics stated: “Something is wrong. I feel like she’s also self-medicating. She’s been through a lot and it shows in how she treats other people.”

beautinstigator said: “Nobody is bullying her. You see how Zari was all up in kefelie’s business and when kefelie gave her the vim she was looking for, you see how zari stood 10 toes. That’s what Annie needs. You can be the villain but you have to maintain that aura when people bite back.”

GloryumorenO reacted: “They need someone to take the “hit” and make the “buzz” for the season. They won’t take her out! I feel so terrible for her. She needs to heal!!!!! The toxicity can’t be ordinary.”
