Fulham have turned down Bayern Munich’s initial £30 million offer for midfielder Joao Palhinha, as it falls £20 million short of their valuation.
Bayern Munich, driven by new manager Vincent Kompany’s interest, have once again, renewed their pursuit of the Portuguese star.
Although Palhinha is reportedly eager to move to Bavaria, talkSPORT reports that Fulham are holding firm, demanding over £50 million.
Recall last summer, Palhinha was on the brink of joining Bayern for £55 million, but the deal collapsed on transfer deadline day.
Despite the setback, Palhinha had an impressive season with Fulham, making 39 appearances and scoring four goals.
Since joining Fulham from Sporting CP in 2022, Palhinha has been a standout performer in the Premier League.
He has so far featured in 79 matches under manager Marco Silva.
