Former Konga CEO, Nick Imudia ends his life

The former CEO of Nigerian e-commerce giant Konga, Nick Imudia, has tragically died by suicide after reportedly jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki.

Imudia, who was the CEO of D.light, a leading innovator in residential solar energy solutions at the time of his death on the night of Tuesday, June 25.

Before taking the fatal leap, Imudia reportedly called his brother in the United States, giving instructions on distributing his wealth in case anything happened to him.

He also reached out to his young daughter from a previous relationship, reassuring her that he would always be there for her and that she could look to the sky to see him.

His friends, family, and associates are in shock and struggling to understand why he would take such a drastic step.

Nick Imudia, originally from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, was previously married to the mother of his young daughter, who is also from the same local government area. The marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.
