‘For the first time in a long while, I find nothing to be cheerful about’ – Actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo
Nollywood veteran actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo RMD has expressed his displeasure at the current happenings in Nigeria.
The actor who seems to be in a sorrowful state over the different occurrences took to his IG account to reveal that for the first time in a long time, he finds nothing to be cheerful about.
He stressed that there are too many records of the death of people close to him as well as the killing of people in the country and uncertainty holds everyone a ransom.
RMD noted that Nigeria needed God’s divine intervention at a time like this.
He shared a photo of himself and captioned it:
For the first time in a very long while, I find nothing to be cheerful about. Too many deaths of even people I know, not to mention the national carnage.
Uncertainty holds us all ransom. If ever the use of “The Hand of God” in theatre is more needed, it is now, in this Nigerian Play of Despair and Desolation. Divine intervention, where you dey? We are at our wit’s end surely!
