Footballer, Brown Ideye shares wife’s hilarious reaction over his transfer to China
Nigerian professional footballer, Brown Aide Ideye recently shared the amusing story of how his wife reacted to the news of his transfer to China after seeing his proposed salary and bonuses.
On his official page on the microblogging platform X, the footballer admitted that he had no plans of playing in a China club.
However, Olympiacos, a Greek professional football club he was playing for, received a juicy offer from Tianjin Teda that they couldn’t refuse.
After his agent negotiated his salary and bonuses, his wife, upon seeing the deal and long figures, took the lead in packing their bags, ready to leave the very next day.
His words: “I had no plans to go to China, Olympiacos received an offer from TEDA which they can’t refuse, my agent negotiated with TEDA about my salary and bonuses. When i saw the long numbers and told my wife na she pack my luggage for me to leave the next day LOL…”
