Flavour opens up on his early transition in the music industry
Renowned highlife singer, Chinedu Okoli, better known as Flavour N’abania has shared the story of his early growth in the music industry.
The singer shared his story during an interview on UK’s In My Opinion podcast.
Flavour spoke about how he started off by singing for a small crowd in the East those days and captivating them with his sounds.
He thought to himself that he needed to expand his audience and knowing fully well that all he needed was in him, he quickly took a night bus to Lagos.
He recorded his first song the next day and contacted Nigerian rapper, Mr Raw, pleading with him that he needed a feature on his new song.
The rapper agreed and after he added his tune to the song, he took the CD and traveled back to Enugu.
He noticed that people fell in love with the song and printed several copies of the CDs and sold it to everyone he could find.
Flavour also revealed that he learnt alot about becoming an artist from Mr Raw.
