FCT Police warns against illegal use of Tinted Glass

The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command, has warned against the illegal use of tinted glass in vehicles in the Capital city.

The FCT Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, gave this warning while speaking at a news conference in Abuja.

He noted that the enforcement of laws on tinted glasses aims to curb the rising cases of “one chance” operators who pose as commercial cab drivers to abduct unsuspecting residents.

He decried the rise in the cases of “one chance” in the city, citing the illegal use of tinted glass vehicles as one of the factors responsible for this.

He therefore promised to sanction violators of the law against the illegal use of tinted glass.
