Fans pay tribute to Dagrin at burial ground 14 years after death
Hardcore fans of the late Nigerian rapper Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, popularly known as Dagrin, visit his burial ground as they remember him 14 years after his tragic death.
Before his death, Dagrin was considered one of the greatest Nigerian rappers of all time and is recognized for paving the way for indigenous rap in Nigeria.
He was known for his unique style of rapping in Yoruba, English, and Pidgin English. Some of his most popular songs include “Pon Pon Pon” and “Kondo.”
He died on April 22, 2010, at the age of 25, after a car accident.

He had been in a coma for eight days after crashing his Nissan Maxima into a stationary truck in front of the Alakara Police Station in Mushin, Lagos, on April 14, 2010.
About 14 years later, a group of Nigerians in tops designed in honor of the late rapper visited his resting place in remembrance of him.
